Terms of Service

Booking an appointment with Yi Acupuncture means you have read and agreed to the following policy.
We respect your time and ask you to do the same for ours.

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee.

Failure to show up for your appointment will be charged at the full treatment price.

Late cancellations and missed appointments are not billable to your insurance or ACC, and you are personally responsible for these fees.

Please note that treatment time may not be extendible for late arrivals, in some cases. Thank you for your understanding.

Deposit

To secure your first appointment, a $50.00 deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of your treatment and is non-refundable.

You may reschedule your appointment at no cost if done more than 24 hours in advance.

Payment

Payment for treatment is required within one working day after the treatment. Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash. No EFTPOS facilities.

Late payments will incur a $15.00 penalty fee after seven days.

Invoices for health insurance claims can be provided upon request.

Treatment Eligibility and Refusal Conditions

Yi Acupuncture is a private practice. You may be declined treatment for reasons including:

  • Requesting treatment under ACC for non-associated conditions.
  • Being unwell or sick at the time of treatment.
  • Conditions deemed unsuitable or unreasonable for acupuncture treatment by the practitioner.
  • Inappropriate language or behaviour.
  • Excessive cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Outstanding payments.

Health and Hygiene Requirements

Flu or other contagious conditions

Please do not attend the clinic if you are currently sick, have the flu, or any other contagious conditions. If you are unsure, please call ahead to confirm.

COVID-19

To protect the health and safety of everyone at the clinic, please do not attend if you have, suspect you have, or have been exposed to COVID-19.
