Historical records also mention Yi Shuo (義妁), the first known female Imperial Physician of the Western Han Dynasty. Renowned for her skill in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, she was appointed to care for the Empress, highlighting how cosmetic and rejuvenation-focused acupuncture was historically a luxury reserved for royal women and nobility.
Today, this classical approach continues in a natural and modern form. Beauty acupuncture enhances circulation, nourishes the skin, and stimulates the body’s own regenerative processes. Treatments can reduce lines and wrinkles, lift and tone sagging areas, improve complexion and skin tone, minimise pores, lighten pigmentation, and help manage acne influenced by the female hormone cycle. Aesthetic Package
Phase 1 - Improve Qi and blood:
$150: 60min
Each aesthetic treatment package begins with a focused phase to improve Qi and blood. These sessions strengthen the body’s internal foundation, support circulation, and balance hormones, creating the ideal conditions for visible rejuvenation. When the body is nourished, the skin responds more quickly and results last longer.
One or more sessions, depending on progress.
Phase 2 - Aesthetic Treatment:
$200-250: 60min
The second phase focuses on targeted aesthetic treatment using specialised facial needles. These techniques stimulate local Qi and blood, enhancing circulation and supporting the skin’s natural repair processes. This helps address specific concerns such as fine lines, sagging, pigmentation, and acne, creating clearer, smoother, and more lifted results.
Limited to one session per 28 days, in the same area.
Needles & Technique
The needles used for aesthetic and rejuvenation acupuncture differ from standard acupuncture needles. I import high-quality, specialised needles to ensure precision, comfort, and premium results.
The technique involves inserting the needles parallel to the skin, gently stimulating the surface layers rather than using the deeper insertion methods common in standard acupuncture.

The first session focused on the face only, not the neck. The patient observed that only the acne on her neck remained. She also noted that the acupuncture treatment was much less painful than using a derma roller, and that the overall improvement was significantly greater than with any previous treatments.
